Definitely 4x4 Recommended, however my 2wd with a limited slip and 33s BARELY made it without assistance. Though I would have bet money otherwise!

That looks like fun! What time of the day did you head out there? I'd like to get out there around the same time with the shade out in the water like that. Looks peaceful.

Burro Wash is wide open plenty of room to goof off..you can go up to most of the towers I did..2wd is more fun for sliding around but i burned up ALOT of gas..If you haven't been out there I strongly suggest this trail... Very Happy

I know this is an old thread but since I'm new here I thought I'd post up some pictures to the times I've been down Burro Wash. I was really surprised by this trail. It's nothing too crazy. Gets a little knarly down by the river but I love this trail more for it's scenic beauty and that fact that it takes you down to the water. I'd love to head back there sometime.

That cove has changed a bunch since your pics, lots more foliage around the water. Once the weather breaks we're doing Devils Peak, the Nelson trail we did last night, and Burro Wash again. More enjoyable during the day and when it isn't 1,000*

So is this different from the Powerline/Electric Avenue trail? It really looks alot like that trail.
